Our Mission
It's Back! The Second Annual Swingathon by The Recess Project!

Following the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event, The Recess Project is thrilled to announce the return of our Swingathon — a movement to bring play to every child.
​
This year, we’re once again rallying support to raise $30,000 to purchase and donate a wheelchair-accessible swing to a U.S. school that currently lacks inclusive playground equipment for students who use mobility aids.
​
Why? Because play is a right, not a privilege. Too many school playgrounds remain inaccessible, leaving children with disabilities on the sidelines during recess. Together, we can change that.
