Inclusive Playground music video!
We’re looking for inclusive ambassadors like you! Do you or someone you know want to be featured in DARIA’s next animated music video of The Recess Project Inclusive Playground Song?
World renowned singer/songwriter DARIA (author of the Earth Day Song | We’ve Got The Whole World In Our Hands) created an official The Recess Project Inclusive Playground song called 'All Are Welcome Here’ and it's time to make a music video representing inclusive rockstars!
DARIA (Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou) has spent almost four decades performing in the USA and around the world. Hailed as “an ambassador of song” she has represented the USA in Seville Spain’s World Expo and been featured in the Huffington Post for her musical work with children around the world. The Christian Science Monitor commented: “When Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou makes music, the world listens – literally!"
DARIA has won numerous national awards for her culturally diverse music and is a published author of over 500 multicultural resources for the music classroom. In terms of original music, DARIA is the author of the “I Have A Dream” Song is used widely to celebrate MLK Day. Her Earth Day anthem: “We’ve Got The Whole World In Our Hands” is used in over a dozen different countries around the world. DARIA’s “Beautiful Rainbow World” song is used in Australia as part of a “Respecting Others” curriculum, in South African schools as part of a “Teach Tolerance” initiative and in a recent book – BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW WORLD - that features dazzling images of multicultural and mixed race children from around the world.
Most recently DARIA has been given a 2022 Global Music Award for her pandemic song for healthcare workers: “Thanks To The Doctors And Nurses” and created a special song - The Inclusive Playground Song - to bring attention to the need for building inclusive playspaces for all kids!
One of our favorite fundraising events is the TRP Lemonade Stands! You can host your very own lemonade stand any time of the year and we are here to help!

The Recess Project hosted the FIRST EVER TRP Swing-A-Thon from Febraury through May of 2024. This fundraising campaign raised over $30,000 to help donate a wheelchair accessible swing to an Elementary school! We are so excited for next year’s Swing-A-Thon and we hope you will join us!
